Acts 23:11-35

Striving to be on the "right side of history" is a common pursuit these days. But history is a funny thing. Events usually refuse to take the path that we expect, our view of the future is extremely limited, and our personal ambitions and biases cloud our powers of perception even further. All of this is true for the Christian following Jesus. We may know the destination that God is moving us toward, yet we have no idea how or when we will arrive at that destination. God's Providence, it seems, often leaves us in that proverbially tough spot, caught between the rock and the hard place, or left dangling between the frying pan and the fire. What do we do when we know where God is going, but we have no idea how or when He will get us there? This is Paul's predicament in Acts 23. Join us today as we look at the conspiracies of wicked men, the providential moving of God, and the Apostle Paul who is caught between it all in Acts 23:11-35.
