Jesus is our peace. The terms for being at peace with God is to walk in total surrender to Jesus. The terms for being at peace with man is to be IN Christ. Through His cross, Jesus Christ has torn down the deepest wall of division (between Jew and Gentile, and ultimately between all sinners and God) and created one new people who together have direct access to the Father by one Spirit. Because Jesus is our peace, we must let Jesus lead us to love and forgive, but protect us from friendship with the world.
