There is one big temptation that everyone faces when it comes to giving: the tendency towards self-righteousness and self-exaltation. The act of giving money away all too often lead the giver to think more of himself. The problem is that the heart matters when it comes to our actions. A person can do the right thing for the wrong reasons, and it would not be acceptable in the Lord's eyes. So how can we be properly moved to radical generosity?
