Everyone looks for security and safety in something. Jews believed they had security in knowing the law, in understanding the dignity and equality of all life as taught in the maxim, "If there is harm, you shall repay eye for an eye, and tooth for a tooth." But even in knowing the law, they misunderstood the real requirements of the law. For many Christians today, it is the same: they have a knowledge of the Gospel, but they misunderstand the Gospel and deny its power. Today, Paul warns the Jews and everyone: don't place any confidence in merely having knowledge. You must know Christ. Follow along as Pastor Josh unpacks Romans 2:17-24.
