Romans 15:30-31
Struggling Together in Prayer

We often think to ourselves that if we just do something the "right way", that God will be obligated to bless it, and it will bear fruit. Yet Jesus clearly teaches, “...when you have done all that you were commanded, say only, ‘We are unworthy servants; we have only done what was our duty.’ ”” (Luke 17:10) There is always, in every good endeavor, the overwhelming need to seek God in prayer and to ask Him to be with us, to work for us. This is what Paul is after when he appeals to the Roman Christians to pray for him in Romans 15:30-31. Follow along as Pastor Josh unpacks these verses and asks for a renewed spirit of prayer among the congregation at First Baptist Church of Kamloops.
