Everyone is proud of something. We take pride in our families. We take pride in our careers. We take pride in our possessions. We take pride in how immaculately sculpted our lawn and garden are. In this pride, we may even be boastful from time to time. If you look closely at anyone, you will find them bragging about something sooner or later. But what about the follower of Jesus? We all know that Christians can boast in any number of things in the same way as the world, but in what should Christians boast? Where should they place their pride? The Scriptures are clear: in Christ. So much hope should be placed in Christ, in fact, that it becomes a kind of law against everything else.
