We all have deep regrets and secret shames. We've all known the bitter sorrow of a past wrong that hurt a friend... And in these moments we are tempted to question the power of Jesus to heal. We may say to ourselves, "Sure, Jesus can forgive. But he can't really redeem the tragedies of the past? He can't really undo what has already been done and heal the hurt, can He?"
