There's this myth that is quite popular today. It is the belief that following the Holy Spirit very carefully will lead the believer into abundant prosperity, a dream job, the perfect marriage & family, never-ending health, and a happily-ever-after, story-book finish. Decisions about whom to marry and which job to take are important decisions, and these should be given over to the Lord. But the Holy Spirit is more concerned with our holiness and becoming more Christ-like then He is with which university we attend or which job we should take. When the Holy Spirit truly leads, the follower of Christ finds himself walking a road of suffering and hardship alongside Christ. Follow along as we unpack Romans 8:13-17.
