So many reassure themselves that they are in a right relationship with God based on their proximity to the church. Attending church a few times a year is thought to be, "good enough." Yet a mere awareness of the work of Jesus and a begrudging, token worship of Him will not be enough to justify them. The Scriptures speak of a true Israel and a false Israel. The question we need to ask is, "Am I a part of true Israel, chosen and blessed by God? Or am I on the periphery of that group, deceiving myself that I am in that group?"
